Minnesota Bill Would Prohibit Landlord-Mandated Declawing

MN Landlord-Declaw Bill, SF 3076, Introduced – February 10, 2022 – Minnesota State Senator Scott Dibble has introduced SF 3076, which would prohibit landlords and property managers from requiring declawing of tenants’ cats as a condition of tenancy. The bill was patterned after the Paw Project-sponsored SB 1229, which was enacted in California in 2012.
